The NCC issued a statement welcoming the news that the enabling legislation necessary for Congress to approve the US-Colombia Free Trade Agreement (FTA) was formally transmitted to Congress – saying the US cotton industry urges immediate approval of the legislation by the House and Senate.
The NCC issued a statement welcoming the news that the enabling legislation necessary for Congress to approve the US-Colombia Free Trade Agreement (FTA) was formally transmitted to Congress – saying the US cotton industry urges immediate approval of the legislation by the House and Senate. Robbie Minnich, Senior Government Relations Representative for the Council says the statement noted that NCC members consistently have expressed support for Congressional approval of the Free Trade Agreement with the Republic of Colombia, which was signed in Nov. '06.
