The U.S.-China trade dispute is a significant factor impacting the world economy and the global fiber market. Based on the positive statements resulting from the recent negotiations, Dr. Jody Campiche, Vice President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council, expects the additional tariffs being imposed by the two countries will be removed in advance of the 2019 marketing year. Dr. Campiche joins us with more details on the economic outlook for U.S. cotton in 2019.
