We are now two weeks into the sign-up period for the Department of Agriculture’s Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP). The program will provide critical aid to cotton farmers who are suffering from a sudden collapse in demand and depressed commodity prices due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Reece Langley, Vice President of Washington Operations for the National Cotton Council, outlines how the program will provide relief not only for farmers but others within the cotton and cottonseed supply chain.
