After the upcoming July 4th holiday recess, the House of Representatives will direct its focus on twelve appropriation bills for fiscal year 2021, which begins on October 1st. One of these bills is an agriculture bill, which funds USDA, FDA and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and it is scheduled for subcommittee action in the House Appropriations Committee on July 6th. National Cotton Council Vice President of Washington Operations, Reece Langley, has been working closely with House members to highlight the needs of the U.S. cotton industry, and we caught up with him for more details.
